Introduction

We all have demons that we are fighting! Whether we like it or not, and whether we are aware of it or not, there is a spiritual enemy already at war against us. Therefore, spiritual Warfare is the terminology used to describe our war against the enemy. The term Spiritual Warfare comes from the fact that we are battling a spiritual enemy in the spirit realm.

"For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places." Ephesians 6:12 (NKJV).

Who Is The Enemy?

Just like in any other warfare, we must first identity the enemy, respect him and then learn how to fight him.

Throughout our lifetime, we are going to battle against three major enemies:

1. The flesh. That is our sinful habits. The way to combat the flesh is by putting it to death according to Romans 8:13 (NKJV), "For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live."

2. The world. The world is against us as it is run by the devil and he uses it as a foothold to manipulate our flesh. The way to combat the world is according to Romans 12:2 (NKJV), "And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God."
1 John 2:15 (NKJV), "Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him."

3. The devil and his demons. They come to kill, to steal and to destroy! The way to combat the devil is according to James 4:7 (NKJV), "Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you."

How To Recognize Demons?

The presence of a demon is always manifested through the purpose of the demon. For example, a demon of addiction will manifest as the habit of the addiction of choice, the demon of homosexuality will manifest through the practice of homosexuality and so on.

Sometimes, the purpose of a demon can be subtle; however the core characteristic of evil is always noticeable. Characteristics such as pride, unaccountability, fear, hatred, rage, un-forgiveness, refusing to face the truth (deflecting), delusion, confusion, and so on. These are the signs to look for when suspecting demonic presence. These characteristics will always remain constant regardless of the purpose of the demon.

"Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world." 1 John 4:1 (NKJV).

How To Cast Out Demons?

Casting out demons is the act of verbally using the authority given to all who believe in the Name of Jesus Christ.

"Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you." Luke 10:19 (NKJV).

How Do Demons Leave?

The departure of a demon(s) can be somewhat violent or calm. Therefore at the time of deliverance, the person that is being delivered will cry, burp, fart, yawns, shout, have itchy ears, sneeze, cough, urinate, sweat, defecate, convulse, vomit, and so on. The demons will always depart through one of our seven gates which are the mouth, the eyes, the anus, the genital organ, the pores, the ears and the nose.

"The Lord will cause your enemies who rise against you to be defeated before your face; they shall come out against you one way and flee before you seven ways." Deuteronomy 28:7(NKJV).

What Are Our Weapons?

Our main weapon is love in reference to 1 Corinthians 13.

We must let go of the love we know and strive for Agape love, the unconditional love, the one that we can only learn from God. The kind of love capable of loving the sinner, and yet hate sin as Christ Himself demonstrated by dying on the cross for us.

"Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one's life for his friends." John 15:13 (NKJV).

Remember that some demons will not leave except by prayer and fasting.

"However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting." Matthew 17:21 (NKJV).

Doing communion is like consuming energy. Therefore doing it daily will strengthen you and it will reenergize you for the battling against the powers of darkness.

Then Jesus said to them, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in you." John 6:53 (NKJV).

We do have a spiritual armor at our disposal. This armor is better elaborated in our message on Weapons.

"Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil." Ephesians 6:11 (NKJV).

Conclusion

Spiritual warfare is not reserved for an elite group of Christians. No! All it takes is you deciding to take up your authority in The Name of Jesus Christ and to go after the enemy who is already at war against you!

God is not calling the capable to go to battle. No! He is calling the incapable, because He is capable of making the incapable, capable. All that God is asking is to be willing to go to battle, the rest He will do!

Remember that it is not by your power, nor by your might, but by the power of Holy Spirit, and Holy Spirit is always with you. Also, remember to use the resources that are at your disposal: the related messages, your weapons and so forth. Indeed, spiritual warfare is not easy, but it is necessary. So, don't let the hardship stop you. Keep on pressing, there is going to be a breakthrough. At the end victory will be yours. Amen?!

We renounce, in the Name of Jesus Christ, the spirits of (recall it: quarrels, contention, conflicts, division, divorce, adultery, homosexuality, masturbation, pornography, pedophilia, the inability to have an orgasm and so on), every curse and demons that we have brought upon ourselves and into our marriage!

We break, in the Name of Jesus Christ, every soul ties, every sexual bonds, every emotional bonds and every spiritual alliances between us and (recall whoever you remember having sex with beside your spouse or any other spiritual alliance such as witchcraft, sorcery, magic, zodiac, divination, idolatry, etc.).

We proclaim, declare and receive our healing and restoration over our bodies, our strength, our energies, our souls, our spirits, our finances, our goods, our sex life and our marriage in the Name of Jesus Christ!

We choose, from now on, to present our bodies as temples Holy and acceptable unto Holy Spirit and we invite You, Holy Spirit to come in to our hearts and in our home and make it a sanctuary from now and to forevermore in the Name of Jesus Christ.

Lord, thank You for coming into our marriage and for showing us how to enjoy true intimacy, true romance and true love between a man and a woman in marriage!

Gracious, Awesome, Marvelous, and Glorious Father, have mercy on me.

Loving and Merciful Father, I come before You repenting of my wrongdoings and imploring You to reach out and touch me once more, with Your healing Hand, Father.

Please save me from all the darkness that I have invited into my life whether intentionally or unintentionally.

Please forgive me for intentionally and unintentionally initiating anyone into darkness as I also forgive anyone who has intentionally and unintentionally initiated me into darkness.

Father, I thank You for our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, for His precious Blood shed on the cross to save us, and I come under the covering of That precious blood to confess and renounce the initiations through tattoos, through rape, through piercings, through occult, through witchcraft, cannibalism, through sorcery, through magic, through fraternity/sorority, through freemasonry, through zodiac, through secret society, through ritual of selling my soul, through molestation, through abuse, through defense and coping mechanisms, and through all the unknown initiations in my life, in my bloodline, in my name, and in my family in the Name of Jesus Christ. I destroy every tie, bond, chain and freedom chain in the Name of Jesus Christ, and I cover them all with the blood of Jesus Christ.

Now, with the power and authority given to me in the Name of Jesus, I command you, demons linked to the initiations, to take up all of your baggage, all of your belongings, all of your subordinates, all of your subjects and everything else that came along with you, to be cast into the abyss and to stay there forever in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ.

Devil, my soul does not belong to you. It belongs to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. So give it back! I want it back! I claim it back from the initiators, and I receive it back in the Name of Jesus. I also give back the souls of those I initiated.

Also, I take back everything and anything that you have stolen, destroyed and tampered with in any way, in the Name of Jesus Christ. I want it all back, I claim it all back, and I receive it all back in the Name of Jesus Christ.

Lord, I give You my soul, my body, my spirit and my all. I thank You for healing and restoring me back to You. I thank You for healing the traumas and the wounds that took place at the initiation and for filling the emptiness in me with Your Holy Spirit. I thank You for cleansing, closing and sealing every door, every access and every gate that have been opened in my life, to the powers of darkness.

I cover myself, my life, my marriage, my name, my image, my goods, my family, my bloodline, my friends and everything else related to me in any way, with Your precious Blood, Jesus Christ.

I also pray healing, deliverance, freedom, repentance and the Blood of Jesus Christ over those who initiated me whether intentionally or unintentionally, and over those who I initiated, whether intentionally or unintentionally. Please save them and help them find their ways back to the Light. Lord, I praise You for all Your goodness, love, joy and peace in store for me.

Destroying Traumas

Abba, Father, King of kings. Our Father in Heaven, be glorified, and be magnified.

Father, I surrender my heart to You, and I am asking You to dig out all the traumas in my heart; to show me the root foundation of all the strongholds in my life, and to help me face them.

Please forgive me in every way that I have sinned against You. I also forgive (say their names), and all those who have hurt me, traumatized me, and offended me in any way. I forgive myself, and Father, I forgive You as well, not to say that You have done me wrong, but because I have blamed You at some point in my life. So for the sake of my healing, I forgive You, and I am asking for Your mercy in return.

Please place a hedge of protection around me and my loved ones as I destroy the initiation, the chains, the bonds, the prison bars, the ties, the traumas and the shame of narcissism, abuse, sexual abuse, financial abuse, physical abuse, verbal abuse, mental abuse, rape, neglect, pain, war, military, robbery, scam, death, sickness, homelessness, cancer, murder, surgery, slavery, suicide, infidelity, poverty, molestation, car accident, the news, abortion, miscarriage, incest, witchcraft, sexual immorality, prison, abandonment, foster home, orphanage, divorce, and more.

I cover them all, and break them all with the Blood of Jesus Christ, and I destroy every emotional bond between me and every demon attached to every trauma, in the Name of Jesus Christ.

I tear down every stronghold established in my life, in the Name of Jesus Christ, and I command all of you, demons attached to all the traumas and strongholds, to take up all of your belongings, all of your subjects and everything else related to you, and to be cast into the abyss, and to stay there forever in the Name of Jesus Christ.

I claim, I want, and I take my soul back from wherever it has been held captive, and I restore my soul in the Name of Jesus Christ.

I also restore everything, and anything that has been stolen, held back, broken, hindered, and tampered with in any kind of way; my peace, my finances, my health, my sanity, my love, my relationships, my strength, my energy, my freedom, and everything else. I claim it all back, I want it all back, and I receive it all back in the Name of Jesus Christ.

I cleanse, close, and seal every access, every gates, and every portals to the powers of darkness, in the Name of Jesus Christ, and I offer myself to You, Lord Jesus Christ. Take me, body, soul, and spirit. I belong to You, from now on and forevermore.

I come before You today to thank You for the authority in Your Name Jesus Christ and to exercise that authority in destroying every and any attack of the enemy against me; whether temporal, spatial, financial, verbal, corporal, dormant, active or inactive; in any way possible.

I destroy them all in Your Name Jesus Christ and I cover myself, my loved ones, my life, my blessings, my place, my health my finances and endeavors with Your Precious Blood. I cover them all physically, spiritually, emotionally, mentally, financially, past, present, future and in any other way that You see fit, Lord.

The Shepherd's Prayer

Son of David, have mercy on me. Son of God, have mercy on me. Good shepherd, have mercy on me.

You have called me to shepherd Your sheep. Oh! What a great honor to be entrusted with Your creation. What a cross to carry along this sinful life. What a passion this is to care for these precious souls of Yours.

O Graceful and Merciful One, I, myself, am but Your creation only perfected through Your Grace and Mercy. If You were to require my own soul at my hands I would not be able to provide it. So how much more could I provide the soul of another if You were to require it at my hands? I cannot! So please forgive my imperfections as I also forgive the imperfections of others. But above all, have mercy on me.

I pray that You, The Good shepherd, that You increase in me and that I decrease. For indeed, I must fall back and let You shepherd Your flock. For indeed, I must be humble about this task entrusted to me, and indeed, I must be careful to remember the seriousness of Your sheep when they call:

To feed them when they're hungry,

To strengthen them when they're weak,

To heal them when they're sick,

To bind them up when they're broken,

To bring them back when they're driven away,

To seek out for them when they're are lost

And to watch over them with Your love.

O Lord, with such delicate and overwhelming responsibilities, may I ask You to carry me? Because only in Your loving Arms, Jesus Christ, will I be safe enough to accept this calling.

Father I pray that You unlock our faith in You and that our faith does not fail. O Lord, nourish us back to life, reach out and touch us with Your Love. Heal us and forgive us for we are broken and wounded. Teach us Your ways for we are ignorant, restore to us what was stolen, cleanse us from dirt and filth, shine on us to cast out any darkness, reveal to us what is hidden, comfort us from our hurts, protect our vulnerability, be our strength in weakness and straighten the crooked ways in our lives, O Lord.

Soften in us what is harden and harden in us what is soften, close and seal in us what is opened and open what is closed, bring balance where we are unbalanced, give us boldness and courage in You and help our unbelief, O Lord.

Father, breathe life into our dry bones once again, call the dead to rise in our lives, in our families, in Your congregation and in the whole world. Fill us with Your Holy Spirit with Your Love and with Your joy, so we can rise and shine as the true sons and daughters that You destined us to be in Your Name of Jesus Christ.

Mercy Prayer

Father, have mercy on me. I have been damaged by this world, traumatized by darkness and wounded by my own sins.

Even though You bring me into the light, yet I still move as if I were in darkness.

Even though You set me free, yet I still walk as if I were in chains.

Even though I know I should walk by faith, yet I still rely on my sight. I am so sorry, Father. I am plagued with fear and hatred; incapable to move when You say, move; skeptical to obey when You say, go; and running right when You say, trust.

Father, I dare not lift up my head in Your presence; guilty, unworthy and hopeless. I dare not even say, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” No, I dare not! Only mercy I pray! For I know not how to free myself from this cage I've built to myself. For I know not how to escape from this prison cell with the door left wide open. No, I know not! Save me I pray! Forgive me, I plead!

Here in my sorrow, in my pain and in my shame from my heart to my tears, I cry, help me to listen to You, to obey You, to follow You and to trust You!

I pray, O Merciful God, here, at Your feet on my knees as the safest place to be.

I pray, O Merciful Father, deal with me as You see fit. Thus forever closer to You will I crawl! Have mercy on me.

Mercy

I Let Go

Glorious, Awesome, Mighty and Powerful God, on my knees again I come, humbly asking for forgiveness. With my tears again I come, praying for my heart to change.

Yes! Because I've finally seen that self in the mirror and I do not like what I see.

Yes! Because I can clearly see what that ugly self has been doing all this time and quite frankly I don't want to be that self any longer. I don't want to resist You anymore, I do not want to fight You anymore and I don't want to run from You anymore. No, Father, because Your plans are, but peace, hope and love for me. So, please forgive me.

I let go of judgment, revenge, grudge and bitterness. I forgive all who have harmed me in any way and because I know how much of a work in progress I am, I pray that You help my heart catch up to my words.

I also let go of anxiety, worries, fear and hatred and instead I am trusting You, O Lord. Help me to surrender totally to You. Help me to receive Your Awesome Peace, Hope and Love.

Wash me in Your precious Blood, baptize me with Your Holy Spirit and order my steps in You, Father; have Your way, Lord. I let go and surrender to You; from now on I am forever Yours. In pain with praise, In joy with glaze in my eyes amazed.

For Yours is the kingdom, the power, the glory and the majesty forever.
